January 2024 - 2024 Blessings!
New Years greetings in the wonderful Name of our Lord Jesus Christ! This year will be the 40th anniversary of the Light For All Nations ministry! I could have never imagined the fast changes since we first started. Today there are thousands of programs, and we have impacted directly and indirectly many people and many other ministries. Only God knows how many people were saved, healed and blessed, but for sure hundreds of thousands came to know Jesus Christ through Light For All Nations.
At the same time when we are so happy with what God has done, we are saddened by the situation in the world, with all that is happening in Gaza and in many other parts of the world where there is no hope and no security. The Middle East is boiling with turmoil, yet we know that God is in control, and we know from the Bible the glorious outcome. We know that love and forgiveness are more powerful.
Even during the war in Gaza, Jesus is revealing Himself to Muslims. I have been told of the story of a Niqab wearing (all covered) Muslim woman along with her two children who saw a bright light and saw that it was Jesus who came to comfort her. There is a great hunger and thirst to know the Lord Jesus. Many are puzzled and asking questions and they need answers. Thank the Lord for the remnant of believers still in Gaza who are giving them answers and bringing them to Jesus.
There is a huge number of young people who have the desire to learn more and who are enrolling in discipleship courses. We are contacted by many through our social media. We are following up with them and we must increase our follow-up team to handle the numbers. Despite the tribulation and difficulties, we are seeing evidence of a great harvest and it is the best time now to preach the Gospel!
In the Middle East the churches of all denominations are calling for unity and, despite their small numbers, they are having a great influence. We are anticipating a great revival and a turning back to Jesus. The younger generations are in need of God’s touch for healing of their trauma due to the many conflicts they go through. Our programs of good teaching and a good example give them hope and seeds of faith and answers to their questions.
Light For All Nations will continue to focus on the main objective of peaching the Gospel and making disciples, which I count as my greatest joy. Even though we face trials, I will declare along with the Apostle Paul: “But none of these things move me; nor do I count my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my race with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God” (Acts 20:24).
