Greetings in the precious Name of our Lord Jesus Christ. As I write this letter, it is almost Thanks Giving in Canada, so I want to wish you a blessed and Happy Thanksgiving! I pray you will have a wonderful time with your family and that God will be glorified, praised and thanked for everything!
Greetings to you in the wonderful and powerful Name of our Lord Jesus Christ. I am sure many of you have been busy with your kids or grandkids returning to school or college. It is a season of change - change of weather, change of leaf color and a season of new beginnings and adjustments. Please pray for Light For All Nations as we also are in the midst of some changes to keep up with the modern trends and the future of broadcasting and ministry. We remain, however, fully committed to our mission and vision to make disciples from all nations, as Jesus commanded His followers before he ascended into heaven.
I recently had a conversation with a prominent community leader - someone who was against Islam and yet that person was raised a Muslim, so they assumed that if they weren't with Islam anymore, they must now be a Christian. I told them that you cannot be a Christian just because you dislike Islam. It is only by receiving Jesus into your heart as your Saviour and by enthroning Him as Lord over your life. With this new light, that person became a follower of Jesus and I baptized them in water.
We are experiencing a breakthrough in the Kurdish areas of Syria and the numbers of believers are on the increase. We have an extensive follow-up and discipling ministry there helping with the growth and teaching to four new churches. They are growing strong and even those who have left Syria for other countries continue to witness the truth and love of Jesus Christ among their communities. The field is overwhelming; the harvest is plentiful and ripe. The opportunities are unprecedented! The doors are open! The climate is favourable!
Dear Lord, as you prayed and want us to pray, we are pleading: "Please send more labourers into the harvest field." With the Middle East being so unpredictable, now is the time of harvest! Thank you my friend for standing with me and the Light For All Nations ministry as we are making inroads and having an impact in these volatile regions. Thank you for your support! Please continue to pray and give!
May the Lord's richest blessings be upon you and your whole family.
You brother in Christ,
Grace and peace to you in the wonderful Name of our Lord Jesus Christ. We are living in exciting days for the ministry! I recently returned from one of the most productive missions trips to Syria. It was wonderful! I felt like I was back in the Book of Acts, seeing new converts come to the Lord, new churches planted, people healed, delivered and baptized! The Lord revealed Himself and did amazing things. Please look the pictures I shared at the end of this email, but for safety reason please do not post or share them.
Greetings to you in the precious Name of Jesus Christ our Brother, Friend and Lord!
I wrote in my last email to you that I would soon be going on a mission trip into Syria. By God's grace, after a long trip, I have now made it into Northern Syria working with locals to strengthen the new churches and evangelize while the doors are wide open. We are also helping in tangible ways the new and suffering believers. Will you help this mission today? We still need more financial support.
Greetings to you in the wonderful Name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Tragedy came yesterday in the parking lot of the Crossroads Centre in Burlington, Ontario, where we rent our office and studio space. A three year old boy was found dead in a hot parked car at about 5:30 PM. Please pray for the family of this child who must be going through their worst nightmare. We know this young boy is with Jesus, but his family who remain are grief stricken and need the Lord's comfort and strength. My staff and I are so saddened and in our staff devotion and prayer time this morning, we lifted them up before God.
Grace and peace to you in the precious Name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Everyone these days is enjoying the springtime. It is always so good to see the renewal of green things that had seemingly died over the winter. It is a time of refreshment and reminds me that God always makes things new (Isaiah 43:19). I pray that the Lord will renew our hearts and minds to be more in His beautiful and fruitful image.
