December 2023 - Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas to you and your family! "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son..." (John 3:16a)
This is the heart of the Gospel! We see the greatest love! We see the greatest Gift to the whole world!
No matter your nationality, background or socio/economic status, God loves us all unconditionally and He sent His Son for every person on this earth. If only people followed the teachings of Jesus and modelled Him, then we would all live happily on this earth. This is God's plan for us, but He has given us freewill - to accept or reject His Son.
Light For All Nations Ministry is seeing thousands come to accept God's precious gift and seeing the power of God in saving and changing lives. Last month I learned of three Muslim families who came to know Jesus, and one member of the family has gone into fulltime Christian service.
· From Saudi Arabia, we heard from a man who said: "I want to be a Christian!" We told him about the price of following Jesus, including persecution and rejection from his family, but he replied: "I am well aware and I have counted the cost." He accepted Jesus!
· A man from Jordan contacted us saying he is unhappy with his religion and he told us "your religion has the truth and has mercy." He prayed and received Jesus and a Bible and now he is so happy,
· Another person told us: "I saw a dream and was drowning in hell but Jesus came and snatched me up to heaven."
· A lady from Yemen exclaimed: "I received Jesus and now there is a fire inside of me. I want to witness about the Lord. Please help me to do that and tell me how because I live in a Muslim country that does not allow any other religion."
· A Muslim man called wanting us to pray for him to find a good Muslim wife, but our counsellors witnessed to him and he found the Lord!
I could go on and on telling you about Muslims who have accepted the Lord Jesus! The attention of the world is now on all the negative things going on from wars to disasters, but we are rejoicing in the great harvest; a harvest that is on the increase each month because of the great love of Jesus.
"... whoever believes in Him will not perish but have everlasting life." (John 3:16b)
We continue to pray for the people of Gaza. May the Lord have mercy and save them. May the Christian families who cannot celebrate Christmas this year know God's peace in their hearts and may they be protected. We pray that the eyes of all the people of Gaza be opened at this special season to see how much God loves them.
Please remember to donate toward the Light For All Nations general fund and towards the humanitarian missions fund (being collected to aid innocent civilians in Gaza) before the end of the month so you can be receipted for 2023.
