Warmest greetings to you in the Name of Jesus Christ! It is so nice to finally start seeing the evidence of Springtime, with all the renewal and greenery! It is also nice that we, as a society, are getting back to some normalcy. It has been a trying and difficult time these past couple of years, and now with the sad state of the economy, people are experiencing more difficulties on top of this. I pray that God will help you and give you the grace to get through these tough times. I don’t know what I would do without God. I can trust Him in all things and know that He is in control.
We are still working on the new office and studio space in our new facility, meanwhile, we are repeating some programs and airing some new programs that I produced to bridge the time period until we start production in our new studio, which, will be very soon. Over Easter we released a new series that we produced on the Passion of Christ and it had a great response.
During April we had on Facebook a series we produced in Egypt about “Who is Jesus.” It was basically leading people to Jesus and helping them understand their need for His salvation. We literally had millions who watched! The majority of viewers were from North Africa, with most from Algeria. The main comment we receive is how people are so impressed with the love and forgiveness of Jesus.
As always, we emphasize follow-up and work hard to put the people in touch with local church leaders and we also follow-up electronically on our end. Recently, we were contacted by several Moroccans.
- One man, a believer, called us to join him in prayer for his mother. We were able to give him encouragement and comfort.
- Another Moroccan who is still searching told us that he is convinced that Jesus is the Son of God and we encouraged him to read the Bible and accept Jesus as his Savior.
- Yet another Moroccan said he was amazed by the character of Jesus and he wants to know more. We explained to him about the misconceptions that Islam teaches about Jesus and gave him the full plan of redemption.
- Another was afraid from eternal damnation, but he too heard the complete message
- Many people have told us they are afraid of death because they are not sure of where they are going.
- So many tell us about how impressed they are with Jesus, but we tell them, it is not enough to just be impressed, you need to repent and received Him as your Saviour. It is always so exciting when we hear reports of people who have done just that - received Christ. We also always have reports of people who have experienced healing and new found freedom.
